Well I bought the Kimber micro 9 and I love it the problem is it only comes with one clip don't get me started on that rant why on Earth do
these gun manufacturers think that a person who buys an SA handgun would be happy with only one magazine?
So I figured buying directly from Kimber would be high so I did some searching and found gunmagwarehouse bought a clip on Monday and I noticed that they charge my credit card right away haven't heard a thing from them since and supposedly the magazine was in stock
So I went to Yelp to check them and ouch they were 78% negative!
Well it's only been since Monday so I'm thinking maybe I should be a little more patient still it bothers me that they charge the card right away and they still haven't shipped an item that's in stock.
What do you guys think?

This is par for "current conditions" - it's not considered "normal". Hopefully it's temporary, though who knows how long "temporary" will be.

Per usual credit card terms of use I think they have 30 days after charging a card to deliver the goods.

Many people are sold out of most mags , I would order 1 or 2 from Kimber if they have them in stock .
I have never used Gunmagwarehouse Hope they come through for you !
The 1 mag thing is really cheap & sad on the manufactures part :fire:

i had ordered a mag for my new G21. the site kept saying, "processing order" for several days and made me wonder if there was a problem with my credit card.

i tried calling them via the 800 #, and got no one.

then out of the blue, i get an email notice form the post office, i have a package coming!

so, given how they may have been hit with covid and lack of a full staff, i'll chalk it up to, they still ain't bad to deal with, and will still get my business in the future, so much so, i have a Taurus G3c mag on order now too!

I've ordered several times from them and haven't had a problem. I'm sure you'll get what you ordered. And TBH I consider that charging your card right when you order is kinda like reserving the inventory for you. Because the order picker probably doesn't receive your invoice until the balance is paid in full.

I've ordered from them a few times and had no problems at all - all pre panic/covid though. Their prices were always great, and they had stuff that others didn't (such as odd-ball capacities to keep my state happy). That Yelp rating surprises me though - I was under the impression they had a pretty good reputation. Also keep in mind the USPS is absolutely slammed right now - I've had packages show up on my front door step before I got the shipping notice email.

I’ve ordered from them several times and have always received what I ordered, these times are gonna require patience. Coming via USPS causes delays to!!!

I never had a problem with any transaction I've had with them. On my last order I read the header which states 7-9 business days to ship, the order on its way to me in 8. I was happy they had the mags in stock and were honest about shipping time lag.

They do have a bit of a processing lag, made worse apparently by COVID. But they seem to stick by their 7-9 day processing notice (and at least they tell you right up front).

I don't mind waiting a few days to actually get something...when so many places are out of stock!

I've ordered over $1200.00 in AK, AR, and Glock magazines from them over the past year. As noted on their website it took a few days for them to process my orders but other than that I've had zero issues.

Thanks to everyone you put my mind at ease I'm just antsy to get started when I get a two or three clips and a couple of boxes of 9 as I mentioned in another post guy asked me how it shoots I don't really know since I only have one box of 50 can't really give it a good workout. Don't want to go through the whole box of ammo not knowing when the heck I can get more

Plus having only one clip as a real pain you go to the shooting range with one seven round clip you're going to spend more time loading clips than you spend shooting. You country guys are lucky you can set up your own outdoor ranges us city boys have to go to an indoor range and if you know how that is then you know what I mean

When I ordered additional magazines from them for my Micro 9 it took a week or two to arrive as well.

Everything is wonky right now. It may take a while before the magazines arrive, but they’ve been good to go in the past.

I think you will like your Kimber, they are nice little guns that shoot very well. I was impressed when I bought mine this past summer. I shot it a bit last week, comparing it with an LC9 and Glock 43X.

Stay safe.

I can only say that they are my sole magazine resource.
That is, with them, I have no need of any other supplier of magazines.

They will ship when the web site says, and will arrive on time, even if a knucklehead big brother forgets something for Christmas and does a last minute order for his brother-in-laws new AR, even during this time of Corruption Flu.

Don’t worry about the mags. Go find some ammunition.

And, hey. Nice to have you here.:)

I ordered from them. I think I ordered on a Monday and didn't ship til Friday. I typically really appreciate quick shipping but I realize not everybody is in the next day ship game. For something like mags I guess it's not a big deal. I had to email then once a couple years ago and they had to correct their site, they had 15rd handgun magazines listed as a restricted VT item. The fixed it immediately.

Yeah, I knew a dealer who would always keep and sell the 2nd glock mag that came in with glocks and I think some of the MOS Glocks came with 3 mags in which case he still only gave 1 with the gun and sold each additional mag for $40. I along with a few others didn't think that was right, probably not alright with Glock either. He isn't in the gun business anymore anyway, just a kind of slimy thing though.

I have gotten AR's that only came with 1 mag. I think my LCP came with 1 mag. Is it a given that Kimber come with 2 mags? Also just curious, what's the significance of it being a SA handgun only coming with 1 mag?

I've always had great service from them and it seems they have what I want in stock when every one else is on back order, plus the prices are usually better. It seems everyone is pushing shipping back 3 days or more, some a lot more. I ordered a set of Dies almost a month ago and had to check my account to find out they shipped Wednesday and will be delivered Monday. The Vendor did have a warning that due to high demand everything was 21-28 days delayed. just a sign of the crazy times we're in.

OP, I feel your pain... I bought a wide body RIA 10mm and mags are unobtanium. Luckily Para mags with a few mods work in it.

I have a new SS Micro9 mag, PM me and if you send me a padded SASE I'll let you have it.

As an add-on to my above post.... What annoys me is when you order from some vendors, you receive a shipping notice really quickly, but when you check the tracking, they don't ship for many days (sometimes a week) later. I would rather have honest information like GMW's warning, than deception calling something shipped just because they printed a shipping label!
