I was looking through my collection and was thinking: "Wow, I have quite a few of certain rifles, calibers, etx."

So, what is everyone's addictive and guilty pleasure when it comes to rifles? What is that one _____ that you can't seem to have enough of? Mosins? ARs? AKs? Milsurps in general? Certain calibers that you have multiple platforms of? Certain configurations even?

I personally have quite a few 'doubles' in my collection, despite only owning a dozen guns - mostly milsurp. Pics welcome if you want;)

For me, I seem to have multiples in

.22 of course (almost a given)
7.62x39
8mm mauser

Of course I would have multiples of everything if I could afford it:D

2 .40S&W semi autos, 3 .22RF rifles and 2 semi auto .22 pistols, 3 9mm. semiauto pistols., 2 .38 Special revolvers.

And a collection of .36 and .44 caliber black powder revolvers.

1911's and 38 speicials.

I also have a couple of 35 remingtons in the closet, model 14 and 141 and a Marlin or two if I look far enough back.

I generally celebrate diversity...but, have several .22LRs. Mostly I prefer to keep one rifle to one use, and most are in different chamberings (that I consider ideal for the respective use), even some of the .22LRs have different uses despite the like chambering.

:)

I was gonna say .22's as well, but I think I have developed an addiction to TC Encore barrels and accessories.

Mini 30 and SKS: 7.62x39.

Three Lee-Enfields (.303): a #4 and two #5s :).

Sadly, so far only one Mauser: an 8mm Yugo 48A, but will have a second classic Mauser.
Of the few Czech VZ-24s I've seen, each had a trashed bore, some with only dark, very scraped metal.

A second .22 rifle would also be lots of fun.

I have 2 in .223, 2 in 7.62x39, and 6 in 22lr and wouldn't mind another 6 in 22lr.

I'm pretty simple.

.22LR, of course.

7.62x39 and x54r.

I'm a fan of the Russian .30's. Wanted to get my safe filled with AK, SKS and CZ52, a few more Mosin Nagants, a PSL, and anything else I can find (and afford) in x54r.

My biggest complaint is that I can't find a modern bolt-action or (relatively affordable) M1-equivalent in x54r. Love that round.

I'm probably the king of multiples:

12 SKS (7.62x39)

9 Mosin Nagants (7.62x54R)

8 Enfields (5 in .303 and 3 in 7.62x51)

7 AR15s (six in 5.56x45 ,one in 7.62x39, one 22LR upper)

5 Various 22LR (one semi-auto, one lever, three bolt actions)

5 Swiss K31s (7.5mm Swiss)

4 AKs (two in 7.62x39, one in 5.56x45 and one in .308

2 FALs (7.62x51)

2 Springfield 1903s (30-06)

2 Mausers (8mm)

Longguns: AR15 & AR10 types, turnbolts, semi-auto shotguns. Turnbolts most common by far.

Calibers: .243 Win, 12 ga, 20 ga, .45-70, .223, .17 HMR, and of course .22lr (if you count pistols, then .45 Colt, .45 acp, and 9x19mm). 12 ga most common in longguns, followed by .223/5.56x45.

It would be milsurps in general for me.
I have a Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk 1*, a Long Branch.
Once I get a gun safe and a rack of vintage stereo gear sold, the wife says I can get more guns. She seems to have more issues with stereos than guns.:D
I'd like to get a No 1. Mk III, a K31, and various Mausers.
I'd also love a Garand. It'd be a great hog control rifle.

22LR is the winner in my house:
6 - Rifles (does not include one I gave away last week to a father of 2 kids that are learning to shoot and loved my little old single shot bolt action Remington)
3 - pistols

Next up is the 7.62x39:
3 - Rifles (2 SKS and 1 AK)

I have multiple AR's, a couple of other battle rifles in 5.56, several AK's, 4 battle rifles in 308. In handguns I have eleven 1911's. Then I have 16 different 22LR guns.
