Throughout history Nations have come and gone....it seems I have firearms made in countries that no longer exist, merged, or changed their name. Wonder how many others there are?
It has been mentioned, but I have a couple rifles made in Czech Republic or Czechia; formerly Czechoslovakia. I recently (last weekend) bought a .22 rifle marked "Yugoslavia". That country is now several including Serbia (Yay!) home of Privi Partizan Uzice ammunition makers. It is also the headquarters of Zastava firearms - who made my .22 rifle.
