On page 60. Caplock Revolvers in the third millennium
a basic primer on successful handling of these things. Theres a pouch of bullets in there from steve499

I bought both the June and July issues. I just may have to subscribe. Oh, mec, that was a good review on B.J. Snow's knives, too.

Steve

thanks steve. Interesting thing about that knife article. BJ isn't an advertiser or likely to be one as he is a one-man shop operating on a bespoke basis. The GUNS/American Handgunner editors try for a wide variety of subjects and not everything is predicated toward pleasing advertisers.

"You don't have to be a French chef to be able to say so if there's too much salt in the soup"
There once was an epicure from Crue
who found quite a large mouse in his stew
Said the waiter, 'don't shout
and waive it about'
or the others will be wanting one too!'"

After about the third time of reading this article I noticed that the 3rd Model Dragoon being shot duelist on page 62 seems to be dropping it's loading lever.

What gives?

Or are my eyes playing tricks on me??

It wants to grow up and become a Walker. It does that even though I've strengthened the spring and deepended the catch. I pinched the frame a bit so that it never drops down more than an inch.

Haven't seen it yet. In fact, it seems to be out early. could it be maybe, the Aston-Johnson?????????

pretty much and since the lockwork appears new with the fire blue still on the sear and tumbler, it was probably like that 150 years ago.
