Really?
It’s still the 24th, daytime. Santa won’t be here until tonight. I’m expecting a chunk of coal.
Given the time that statement came from it would have been a decent gift. Most used coalition heat with, one piece wouldn't have lasted long though.
I can only remember 2 that I got for Christmas, the first a savage 12 ga pump, don't remember the model number, that my girlfriend bought me. I tried to use it but the lop was too long, had it out that year small game hunting, a ruffed grouse busted up, I pulled up, the buttstock hit under my arm pit but managed to get on it, them couldn't release the safety with my gloves on.
The Second was shortly after my shoulder surgery, a savage m111, in 7mm Remington magnum. I used to shoot that cartridge, 3006, and 12 ga shotgun all the time so I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, yeah right, brought tears to the eyes. I'd about half a box to zero, I was done. My wife and sister finished paying it off so I could use it for hunting, but... Any way my sister wanted to try it out I vehemently said no, but to no avail, she a petite, 5' 90 lb woman sat down took aim, I could see the pain in her eyes and helped her up. I tried to warn her, just couldn't handle the utter rejection when I said no. About a week later I traded it on a glenfield m60 and a savage m111 in 243 at one shop, then went to another and put on layaway a win 670 in 06. The 243 win was the perfect gun, after I found ammo for 50 dollars a box, shot 4 rounds to zero and went hunting. The first shot I took was like getting hit with a piece of paper. The glenfield m60 my wife claimed as hers. I didn't have the win 670 long, it too had too much recoil and now resides I'm my SIL's gunsafe.
