Same gun. Me too.Savage 24 22/410. First gun, Christmas gift in 1956, never warmed to it but given its history it’ll be in the safe for ever.
Just reading a thread about selling gives me the willies... I get separation anxiety
I never understood going to the trouble to make a single shot lever gun!!Ithaca single shot 22 that looks like a Winchester 94
I’ve bought one twice. Sexy looking guns. The first I owned wouldn’t make it through a whole magazine without some sort of jam. Sold it and a year later I bought another. Same issue. I’m not sure if I still own it or not.AMT Backup .380.
Most. Unergonomic. Handgun. Ever.
I have it strictly for nostalgia purposes, they were really popular when I got hired in 1991.
Stay safe.
Sounds like my co-worker. Nice enough guy, and I appreciate him but I can't stand him. The LCP you mentioned may have more brain cells though.I was raised to try to never confuse appreciating a thing or a person with liking the same
Got a pic?I have a Ruger American in 30-06 it was so damn ugly with that black tupper ware stock I was going to sell it but then I shot it. It is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned and that was before I put the vortex scope on it. Couldn’t stand that black plastic stock so I had it dipped in a burl wood pattern. Now I can’t sell it as it is my go to long range and western hunts rifle.
I've got a SKS with the Tapco folding stock and duckbill mag that was given to me by a good friend. The thing weighs a ton with a trigger pull to match. I get it out once or twice a year just to remind myself why I don't like shooting it. Since it was a gift I think I'll hang on to it.
Only one I have left is my Remington 700 mountain rifle in .30-06. First rifle I bought, it's a deer slayer and nothing is wrong with it, light fast and accurate. I just hit the point where I hate getting battered by it and rarely shoot it, I've gone to .308 for hunting and it's just not a fun target gun.
Keep meaning to sell it, but haven't yet.
The other was my BHP, but it's sitting at the shop on consignment at the moment so I consider it sold at this point, even if payment might take some time.
Both are among my favorite lol
Especially now. The prices of those things are ridiculous right now.I don't really like my SKS either. Sure, it's cool looking gun and is in great condition, but trying to hit tennis ball sized targets with it has always been a let down. Even with some trigger work, the trigger still sucks.
Yet, it's the first firearm I've ever bought myself and the monetary value of it seems to hold well, so I'll be keeping it 'til my end.
And that’s what makes the world so great!Yep, we're all different.
