Here's the one that came home with me (bottom) pictured with its older 422 brother I've had for 20+ years.
There was a fella bringing a 6" 2206 to that show for over a year, asking $900. I was actually thinking about getting it this time, but apparently he sold it. Found this 4" across the hall for under 4.....couldnt hand over my $$ fast enough, lol.

Beautiful pistols!!! Well done.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like a few at very reasonable/realistic prices and a lot in the stratosphere.

Ya, that was kinda my assessment too- and these were the private sellers and vendors who are normally reasonable-ish.
Sadly, I'm sure there were even crazier prices to be found, but I know those guys by now and don't even wander towards their tables anymore. :(
Still....I scored, so I gotta chalk up that one as a good show.:)

Sounds like a great show! That Dan Wesson would have tempted me for sure
Yup that's another that woulda come home with me if I didn't have one already. ;)
This is the Two Guys Show, which travels around S.Florida and it's not the biggest, but it is the best of the 4 local shows- mostly small FFLs and private sellers. Lots of old stuff from attics and estate sales if you like that sorta thing, like I do. :)
A few of the long-time regular vendors were absent this time....hoping they are doing well, almost all the sellers are older gentlemen there.

Sadly, Carbines are all over the place. Further, there's a lot of intermingling of the new-production Inland and Rockola with the wartime ones. But, $1800-2300 are pretty common pries, Quality and the rare brands will have pricetags in the $3300-3600 range.

Garands are also in steep prices, too. Inexpensive ones are around $1800, decent conditions ones are prices in the $2100-2300 range.

Now, whether any are selling at those prices, is anyone's guess.

Universals (and other vintage commercial carbines) are still muddying the Carbine waters too, with either uninformed or fraudulent sellers asking GI prices and clueless buyers sometimes paying them. Even honest Universal transactions are in the 700-800 range now.
