H&K Micro 9 coming...sometime.

Yes better be less than 5 bills. The video loaded slow so I gave up. Didn't look like a cut for mrd what I saw. I'm curious why reveal like that in a glass box.

Coming this late to the party they had better sprinkle it with magic dust and better features. Unless of course they just figure the HK fan boys will keep it afloat.

(coming from a semi fan boy)

I'd be shocked if it was $500. But I expect it will be a great gun. They won't release it til it's 100%, they don't expect customers to be beta testers. Provided it's no more expensive than a VP9 then I'll surely get one if I'm still around by then. Assuming of course that they stick with the lever mag release (they can offer a button for the Fudds as long as they keep the correct configuration for HK fans).

Since it’s a modern striker fired hk I’d expect msrp to be around $750-ish and street price to be lower than that once the new gun attraction wears off and all the hk fanboys are done buying them up. I’m not the biggest fan of mouse guns anyways so I have no problem waiting on the prices to settle before I buy one. I like hk handguns but they don’t blow me away or make me feel like I’m inferior for carrying anything but hk. With that said they do make high quality firearms and I’d be interested in at least shooting one asap. With hk’s testing history it should be recall and problem free upon release, which can’t be said for other manufacturers as of late.

Not a fanboy, but there's some truth to that statement. I wouldn't go as far as say "problem free", but problems are fewer than most manufacturers. I'd buy one, if the price doesn't scare my wallet.

Amen to the lever mag release!

Too bad most Americans are unwilling to try a better mousetrap.

Alot of these micro 9’s are growing up now ..
like come of the Sig P365’s 3.7 inch barrel 17+1 capacity .. Hellcat Pro 3.7 inch barrel 15+1
The Canik MC9 is rolling out now .. with a 12+1 with a 15+1 extended mag .. basically the size of a G3C
PSA is coming out with a 15+1 Dagger Micro
Which probably eventually will be in my rotation
Basically thin compacts

H&K have too big of a price tag for me. They seem to think that their guns are made of gold. Parts availability is terrible too. Magazine cost for them are stupid. I gotta say that I am no gun snob nor fanboy. I shoot and own what works for me. I like Glock but I admit that the newer Glocks seem to be having a lot more failure rates than ever. Canik is releasing the MC9 . Now that is what I am waiting for. A small double stack that uses it's bigger brother magazines instead of using only one type of magazine like the Glock 43/48. I think the Canik MC9 will even put pressure on the Glock 26 , which also uses it's bigger brother magazines. The thing that I hate is when these "micro" pistols only use a certain magazine that is different from the rest of their other pistol line. The Canik will be around $400 street price. It's MSRP is $439 .

Have you had an extended range session with those little micro 9’s? Let me tell you it’s no fun after a box of ammo. You are correct, they are basically transitioning to thin compacts. These guns getting a stretch here and there make them tremendously more enjoyable to shoot and less punishing on the hands. Which it turn will transfer to more training and rounds down range. The thin handgun trend is here to stay for sure but I do find it funny the craze was super small to now thin compact lol

Yes … I have had quite a bit of range time with thin micro 9’s ,…. Alot of rounds before the SIG P365 was ever thought of .. Old school P11 guy here ;)
Not sure why you ask … ??
Or why you quoted me ?

..but I answered your question…
I really wasn’t complaining they were getting more useable… not really sure why u thought that

I don't mind paying more for a better firearm. The question is, will HK bring a better design and better quailty firearm to market? Time will tell. I do believe that HK has a very good reputation based on a solid track record.

Not on Micro 9s. And, especially, not on what the USA market wants. Some of their designs, e.g., USP, HK45, P30, P2000, etc., are solid, ultra-reliable pistols; but they have been lacking in innovation for the last couple decades. Heck! even the German Army noticed and chose a UAE co-owned company to produce their AR style rifles.
