H&K P2000 DETAIL STRIP

I have not seen anything on the P2000, but here is a link to a USP.

Why do you want to do a detail strip? I have over 10,000 rounds through my USP 9 and almost 5,000 through my P2000. I haven't done a detail strip.

I too wonder why you need to detail strip your P2000 There are parts in the HK poly frames that HK states should be replaced if firearm is detail stripped....

Just look at the manual, you don't need to be babied/hand held to take these things apart!

I would very much advise against detail stripping as HK does. I also believe it may void the warrantee.

Anything beyond what's dscribed in the manual is pretty un-neccessary. When you detail strip it and can't get it back together properly then what?

HKPRO.com will have the answers. I believe it's a sticky near the top of the HK pistol section. I've had my usp compact down to the frame only on several times. No problems and easy reassembly. Just don't loose anything. These things were meant to be easy to fix and easy to assemble.
