Hey all, not new to the forums lurked forever, I've recently bought a H&R Pardner Protector for fun and home defense, and I've added a couple tactical option. I've noticed hardly anyone talks about these shotguns, and even fewer have pictures of modified Pardners.
I'm not a gun guru by any means, though I am heading that direction, this Pardner seems to be similar to the 870 and this thing is built like a tank.
Thanks to a coupon, a Cabelas card discount + Cabelas points I got this gun for $169, versus the Mossberg 500s and Rem 870s starting at $279 and $329 and really for what I want out of this gun I couldn't justify the higher price of a more prestigious name brand.
I've shot 12 rounds through it so far, works fine and judging by the reviews I've seen I should be putting thousands through with no problems!
Here's a couple pictures, just has ATI folding stock and ATI heat shield. I did have to modify the forend with a file and sand paper to allow for proper fitment of the heat shield and easy sliding. I may get a Tacstar forend grip, I'm not sure if I can easily swap the forend on this gun though I'll have to take a closer look sometime this week.
Edit* changed pictures, these are better quality and in a much brighter room, threw in my little Ruger SP101 2 1/4 .357 daily
