Even if the cylinder were long enough, I don't think the 999 has enough hammer force to reliably fire the .22 WMR, which has a thicker and stronger case than the .22 LR.

Well can put this to bed. Package arrived Wednesday from CCI with their 100 round slide top plastic box of Target Velocity 22LR's. The remainder of this Stinger lot, 500 rounds, will be fired through the S&W Model 41, the Beretta Neos or the Ruger Mark III.

The Sportsman is still a favorite Ill just feed it a diet of target velocity stuff.
