Hakan did my 1911 grips for me earlier this year and the half and half feel on the Kimber was the best. I got grip in all the places that I needed. They felt just right. Well Hakan asked me to send my 1911 grips back to have them refinished last month. He told me I needed them to be a weee bit shinier. So I sent the grips to him and a set of beat up plastic panels for a Ruger MKII.

Well I got the 2 sets of grips back from Hakan yesturday. I must say that I am very impressed. These are the first set ever of Ruger MkII grips that he has done. I must say the "Dude" from Norway has outdone himself again.
It felt like an early Christmas present when I opened up this package.

Thanks Hakan for giving my old MkII some new life.

So in THR traditional fashion here the gun porn!!!

Ooohhhh... very nice.

I bet Glock owners just grind their teeth when they see threads like this one.

Now, if Hakan could just do some Revolver grips!

I just got Hakan's first set of 1911 Bobtail grips in California Buckeye Burl. Soon as I get a camera, I'll post photos. He's magnificent!

AZ......WOW :what: NOW THOSE ARE GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hakan,
You sneak! :D You are not only a gentleman but a true craftsman......wow.

Keep up the work........each day is a new one.........isnt it? ;)

Shoot well.....

I'd love to put a pair of those on my Kimber but I'd always be paranoid about scratching them!
Excellent looking grips.

His prices are very reasonable, and the grips on my gun go to and from work every day with no damage. Tough and good looking, kinda like the TX from T3.....;)

I didnt have to sell my first born to fund the grips. They are beautiful. Hakan is a pretty talented craftsman. The grips feel very smooth and offer just the right grip. Not to mention the bling bling of shine. They are pretty darn durable so I dont worry about scratching them. With a little nudge he's taken on some nice grip requests.

Skunk- You may have to send him your P7 grips and a few pictures on what the grips cover on the gun so that he has an idea of how deep to cut the grips. Shoot him an email. His webpage is www.imageseek.com/hakan

Sven- When are you getting a MKII :)

RTMF- LOL!!!!!

AZ- :what: Those are pretty slick!!!

Now if we could only talk him into carving out a M14 stock............................

Thanks 45R. I do love your matching set! Is the stippled part dyed? It almost looks like it's burned in. Guess I've gotta dress up my Ruger .22 now. It won't know how to act!

45R, Not bad... not bad at all... but you know, I like the two tone look with the light colored frame and the blued slide.
Until then... no Glocks for Ogre.

I have some of the california buckeye burl grips for my kimber on order now. I can't wait till I have those.

lol nice glock...

I wish, instead of making the grip part of the gun, they would just make the gun as they normally would, but with polymer, and have grips over that.

Why don't they do that with guns, like have a Beretta in polymer instead of metal, where the grips still go where they normally would?

Polymer 1911, anyone?

Hakan is likely to earn my business sooner than later. Great looking grips, by the way.

Hakan made a set of 1911 grips for me and they are indeed beautiful.
I asked him if he could make me a set for mt Kahr K9 but he said they were rather complicated and at this time he would not want to make them but eventually he might.
Maybe if he were to get enough interest from Kahr owners, he would take on that project. If you have a Kahr and think you might like a set of his grips for it, let him know.
;)

Just to let all of you know...Ive known Hakan for years and is a friend of mine........he's a truely classy guy in EVERY regard.

The CZ75 Grips take him "ALL DAY" to make from start to finish......

If you figure what he charges for them...........they are a very very very good deal..............

Shoot well..............

Nightcrawler:

I believe he does make them for the 97B. He's made four sets of various CZ grips for me so far, and each one is better than the last. A true craftsman and a very classy guy.

Take care. Marko
