The grips are here and they are sexy!!!!

Oh man, today Rob the Postman delivered my Christmas present. Another good looking set of custom handmade grips from Hakan Pek. I swear this man is the King of custom wood grips! This is a set of Half and Half made from Desert Ironwood loving placed on my Kimber Compact Aluminum Stainless. You guys might remember the other set he made me earlier this year for my Custom IDPA Sistema( same pattern in Birdseye Ambonia) Guys, if you need custom grips, give Hakan a call, his prices are great and he even signs and puts a serial number on each set of grips he sells! Well...not surprizingly,I found out that it is extremely difficult(if not impossible) to receive functioning gun in the post for me here...some parts can be but, frame is the one which can't be sent...and that is the exact part I would need to have.

The very unpleasant answer seems obvious: we need someone to sacrifice a makarov frame -- mill it to the point where Norway will not consider it evil anymore -- as long as it still functions for Hakan's purposes. Then he can have something to tinker with.

I'd like to get it and try my hand at some BHP grips, but it's quite a bit out of my price range for the holidays. And I don't want to embarass myself. I wonder if they make anything like this for other firearms?
