Shot in the local "Steel Challenge" match yesterday; my first one of this type. Lots of fun. A bit different than other USPSA/IPSC/IDPA type matches as each stage consists of 5 steel plates of varying sizes, layouts and distances: 4 plates you shoot first in whatever order you deem quickest, and then a "stop plate." You shoot 4-5 strings at each stage and they throw out your worst time.

The video is long; I left all the footage in because the other guys on my squad were interested in seeing their stuff... so feel free to skim it.

Thought maybe people who haven't heard of this type of match would be interested.

You were getting smoother.

They are fun, and anyone who hasn't tried S.C. should make an effort to shoot one.

The "Man-on-Man" is similar with overlapping popper stop plates. The one that falls first is the winner. Your heart rate goes up for these.

It always reminds me (I'm old) of the Side-Show .22 short arcade shoots of the past. Lots of fun
