Interesting point. Every now and then an a big time liberal protestor type will let something like this slip. For some of the most militant there is no actual distinction. A lot of anti war people are simply anti US and will support whoever the enemy happens to be. When she says "both sides" she makes it very clear that she was pro-communist rather than anti-war. The fact that she made that statement today tells me that nothing has changed in that respect.
