I am thankful this year for many things, but in the spirit of staying
on topic here in this forum, I shall highlight a few gun related issues I am grateful for.
I am grateful that I can own a gun, I can shoot it, heck, I can even buy ammo for it. But I am even more grateful for the country in which we live that allows us this personal liberty even still. And I am grateful to the men and women of the U.S. Military who fight to keep this country safe, inspite of the opposition they face from our enemies and from our media.
I am grateful for good food, good friends, and good family that share these values, I am grateful for the good things that God has blessed us as a country with and me as a person.
I'm thankful for this day that I don't have to work, I get to sit and watch football and chat guns with my buddies. Even the smallest things I think we can take for granted, but it is my hope that I will not take anything for granted this year. We truly have been blessed as a nation, and things really ARE good here. I don't make that much money...but somehow I am still able to afford a nice rifle. What a blessing! A good portion of the world will be wondering where there next meal comes from, and we worry about the price of ammo. Let us not hang our heads in shame, as the Seattle school board would have us do, let us be humble and thankful this day for the good things we have, remembering where ALL good and perfect gifts come from.
If, God forbid, things should get bad in this country, we'd still have it better then 99% of the rest of the world. That is something I think we can all be thankful for.
Here's to a pleasant day, good food, a good coupla games on TV, a good year, good ammo prices, and good shooting for you all.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Hay Commander,
Me too.
I am also greatful for Capitalism that allows people to earn and giva away as much $$$ as they have ambition for. (Greed is good)::neener:

I intend to go shooting on Friday, but I don't know what my guest will want to take along, we will have fun because: we had a day of thanks plus turkey, we have the day off, we are outside, we have the freedom and guns to shoot, we love Jesus, and He has a retirement that is literaly out of this World:D

I am thankful for the greatest gift of all, the gift of LIFE; and for the lives of
my family, our health and well being. Next to that, I'm thankful for all of you
good folks here at The High Road, and being able too share our thoughts and
opinions about all things gun related.

May each of you have a blessed day; stay safe, and shoot straight~! ;) :D
