Mailbox to mailbox 129 days on another SBR Form 1. Mailed March 6, received July 13.

I sent an E form Form 4 the same day, but my Class III is closed until Tuesday. Hoping it’s there too. Very surprised the old form went through faster, or at least as fast, as the E Form 4.

The ATF eForm system hasn’t been available for Form 1s and 4s since 2014, so how did you submit an eForm Form 4?

"E form" wasn't a reference to the old system. But it was faster to say "E form" than "the new electronic barcode scan Form 4".

Ah, OK. But just to be clear, E Forms are a system in use right now, they just don’t allow E Form filing of Form 1s or Form 4s at this current time:

So if you refer to the new Form 4 system with the scannable bar code as “E Forms”, people are going to assume you mean E Forms, as I did.

You actually got my hopes up, I thought the ATF had re-instituted E Forms for Forms 1 and 4 and I had somehow missed it. Oh well...

These laws are among the stupidest and least effective that we have on the books. I guess not enough people care enough to change them. /hijack

My SOT came back from the lake early due to rain, and texted me yesterday. My scannable Form 4 came back same day to the dealer. Mailbox to mailbox, same speed.
