I started it when I left for Church. Definitely not something to run when someone is home.My oldest has a HF tumbler.
My hearing is not good these days BUT i ask him to turn it off when I come over-----"that's much better"
Does the nufinish speed up the cleaning, or just make it shiny?
^^^^This^^^^Just makes it shiny I think, but the added benefit is it keeps the brass from tarnishing while its waiting to be reloaded, and (this may just be my imagination but) it seems to run through my carbide dies a little easier
It did create dust.As much as I like BarKeepers Friend (it has Oxalic acid) it is meant to be used wet. So using it dry, in a dry tumbler is just gonna leave dust.
Use some Nu Finish or polish intended for dry tumblers.
The BKF can be used in wet tumblers but still may leave a white dusting.
O use it all the time on stainless and chrome stuff.
USED dryer sheets, not new ones!Cut up dryer sheets in little 3 x 3 squares and put them in with the brass and the dust will be minimal, or non existent!
