If you have the internet there is no hard to find ammo. Google it! They deliver right to your door.

It's 3am, I'm in my PJs and I'm shopping for .300 Whisper!

Don't worry your local Wal Mart doesn't carry it - Google it!

One site I like (no affiliation) is ammoseek: http://ammoseek.com

You can search for handgun, rifle or shotgun ammo, all arranged by price, low to high, but Google or any other search engine will work just fine.

If you have the internet, there is no hard to find ammo.

Alright, drat the both of you

I can't find .41 Rimfire or 56-56 Spencer for sale. Grrr. I don't care how many calibers with which you are familiar, there are always new ones. Then you introduce those silly Europeans (I'm British) who class 45 ACP as 11.43x23mm...Sheesh.

Alright, you can find most hard to find ammo with Google and other sites.

My apologies Dr Dave, I neglected to notice that this was your second post here--didn't mean to give you a hard time, just joshing around a bit. ;) Welcome!

Living in California, by the way, I certainly appreciate the convenience and usefulness of ordering ammo through the Internet all the more since we just managed to defeat new legislation that would have prevented it.

Thanks "o Unforgivin o", but that is not the same round. The one I use is an old proprietary round based off a rimless 30-30 for auto and pump rifles. There were also 25, 32, and 35 Rem....only the 35 Rem stuck.... Remington still makes the brass and releases some loaded lots occasionally.

Hi. .300 Whisper will be primarily a reloading thing. It appears that only Corbon loads it. They list 125 grain HP ammo at $43.74 per 20. May not be available for immediate shipping though.
Ammo-to-go wants $37.95 per 20 or $35.95 per 20 for 150 grain SP's for Corbon ammo. They say they have it in stock. http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/index.php
Buffalo Arms is the place for odd, 'obsolete', ammo and brass. They list properly headstamped .30 Remington at $38 per 20 for 170 grain SP. They have .25 Remington too. They're listing .56-56 Spencer centre fire brass at $42 per 20.

Any .41 Rimfire you find will be collector stuff. Isn't loaded by anybody. Navy Arms did a run, years ago, though.

For 30 Remington go to absoleteammo.com they sell it for $28 a box of 20 + shipping.

Check out Huntington Sportsman`s Store in California they have tons of 30 rem brass and a lot more

Even more, the people that can direct you to a site name quicker than scrowling through page after page for that one odd something.
