Has your gun ever been ridiculed? let's hear it

A friend told me my 1911 was old technology. He said the same thing about my Hi Power. He shoots a Glock. I said if I could reload for one without having to purchase another barrel (and the fact that it just DOESN'T fit my hand), I might consider it. I would place him strictly on the tactical side of things where I appreciate all things that go bang. :D He really did enjoy my duck and goose gun-Remington SP10, however.

Not in person, but if you count Internet bash I have a Taurus that should be shamed into the ground by now. Glad all those guys are wrong about the one I have.

I once told a guy we should do some shooting sometime, and that I had mostly .22s. He told me he found .22 boring. Does that count?

At the private club range I belong to, they don't seem to admit the type of people who do unfriendly bashing, whether with a smirk or not. other members simply ignore what does not interest them, and concentrate on their shooting, scope adjustments etc.

This is why I can't imagine that people who would do so towards a stranger, unless kidding in a light-hearted way.

At a different location (land near Hernando MS), a buddy from East Germany said that Enfields aren't as good as German Mausers, but if my skills could ever allow me to demonstrate what the LE is capable of, he might 'see the light'.

Lol, when the Saiga 12's just came out I got bashed because it had some ejection problems. Then I read the manual rotated the gas lever and let loose.

Turns out Saiga 12's are really cool when 492 .22 caliber pellets shred a man size target to pieces.
