Hate to beat a dead horse(another Servicios & Aventuras SPP post)

If only I had been born with sufficient insight I could have started my lifetime shot count when I pulled my first trigger! I was such a foolish eight year old! 😞
One of first guy's I talked to about reloading basically told me the same thing, so I just keep a log. First in a Navy quarterdeck log book, then moved the data to computer.

The screw in part you put the primer in. Unscrewing makes it extend(deeper seating) and vice versa. Putting primers in the arm by hand may after a hundred or two might inadvertently move the screw was my thought although it hadn't been an issue in the past. Ignore my post if you were pulling my leg about this.
The primer cup and pin is pressed in. I know because I have replaced a few over time. Lee used to sell them, may still. There’s no screw in part in that picture.

Edit: I just checked Lee’s website and they no longer sell the priming pin, cup, and spring separately— only the complete priming arm assembly. Neither does Titan Reloading.

No, I'm not pulling your leg but I feel like I'm on a snipe hunt:)

Never heard of nor seen it. Mine are ten years old perhaps.

I stand corrected. Can I blame it on 73 year old eyes? Sorry for the misinformation I posted and correcting me.

let dive deep! Use the same process with a different primer brand! see if it’s your gun or the primer

As I said in post#1, the following range trip I shot 150 rounds with the same revolver using Winn SPP and all fired first strike. No FTF

then it’s the Primer that that gun don’t like. Have you tried those primers on another gun.

Sorry, I don’t always or understand what I read. Reading & Grammar is my crutch

Well, maybe I don't have the vast experience some/most of you do (been reloading for 30+ years but total rounds reloaded are probably only a couple thou) but I can't recall a single FTF on any reload, ever. The sheer quantity of FTF reports on the SyA primers will keep me away unless there is no alternative. YMMV.

I kind of feel the same way but also I'm inclined to buy a brick just to see for myself. Not speaking for him, but I think that's what @GeoDudeFlorida recently did.

I bought two bricks on sale for $50 each with free shipping and hazmat, to see for myself. They weren’t 100% in a new Glock 48, were significantly better in a CZ P-09, and ran 100% in .357 Mag revolvers (S&W Model 28, Ruger GP-100 and SP-101). So I bought 2 more bricks for the revolvers and will reserve my Fiocchi, Federal and CCI SPP for 9mm and SPP .45 and SPP 10mm cases.
