I have a high standard 9 shot rev, it the Marshal made 1971 to 1973 with the alloy frame, owned it for 50 years and have put 10k plus rds thru it. lately when shooting fed rat shot, the cylinder jams, can`t pull hammer back or open cylinder unless I hit it. I have shot a bunch of the rat shot at rats around my chicken coop and the last few times it has jammed. I have not tried it yet with reg ammo going to test it and see what happens, anyway any one have any ideas? its like the fired case gets jammed back words against the gun

After you've done that, check the face of the cylinder and the forcing cone for lead and lube buildup. If those things don't do the trick, could you post a short video here showing the problem in action?
I would expect this is your issue right here.
