OK, so this guy at the range saw me picking up brass and asks if I reload. I say yes, so he gives me all of his .45's..about 100 or so. Nice. He also says it's too hard to reload. I told him it;s not so hard if you have mechanical ability...
So he says, hey, you are a guy who tinkers, I have this old gun I got from my brother. It doesn't work. You want to give me $20 for it? I can't fix it, maybe you can. Otherwise, he says, he's just going to give it to his grandkids for a toy or something.
He pulls out this silver .25 auto. Made in Belgium. Black plastic grips, machining marks in the finish, real cheapy. I offer the guy $10 and he takes it.
Turns out it has a broken firing pin tip. Otherwise it seems to work.
If I can fix it, hey, cheap enough. If not, I figure the next time there is a gun buy-back for $100 gift cards, It's getting turned in (profit!)
In the meantime, I can't find anything about it.
.25 acp caliber silver colored with a removable mag with heel release. Safety/slide release is on left side. Rotates down to release slide or to fire. Barrel is removed by locking slide back, and rotating the barrel 1/4 turn and there are grooves in the top of the frame or in the side of the slide, the barrel lugs line up with.
Grips are black plastic, the left one is missing replaced with something from another gun, the right side has a large circular C with an obelisk and an O inside it. One screw for each grip panel.
External extractor on top of slide, no ejector. Grip safety on back of grip.
Left side of slide is marked ANG. E TABL PIEPER HERSTAL BELGIUM
Right side of slide is marked MADE IN BELGIUM
There are proof marks all over it what look like a running man maybe, with a line under it, a P.V, under that a 5-point star, under that an M.
Barrel proofs are the same plus a crown on top of an oval, in the oval are E and under that LG
And then "6.35 br"
