Hey guys I am looking to sell a cva optima 50cal muzzleloader with a 3-9-40 Thompson center scope. The gun is in good condition.

What would be a fair price to sell this package?

I was thinking $200. I think I paid $300 for the gun and $100 for the scope.

I think that is a more than fair asking price.
If you're really wanting to get $200 out of it, I'd set the price at $250-$275. Someone is ALWAYS going to shoot you a lower offer and test the waters.

BTW, I shoot a Optima Elite with a T/C 3-9x40. Great rig. I love it. And I certainly wouldn't let it go for that price. ;)

paul you think my price is too low? trying to not get screwed out of the deal or screw the other guy.

The standard Optima is listed on MidwayUSA right now with a scope for $379 if that gives you a reference.

I certainly think someone would be getting a good deal at $200.
However, if you are happy with that price, the good news is that you shouldn't have any trouble selling it.

I think that $150-$200 mark is right. New, the Optima can be had from $230-$325 depending on model. You may want to put it at $150 with no scope. Once you have a buyer ready to meet, ask if he's interested in the scope for another $25-$50.
