Help me with this peep sight ...

So I have this old M1917 '06 with a Redfield front sight and the mount/base for a Peep on the receiver. I have a stock and will get bottom metal so it'll be a shooter again.

But I need to find the rest of the rear sight. eBay will do, once I know what I'm looking for?

Any ideas on what it was/is?

Front, in case they were sold as a set...

Probably a Redfield series 80.

There's one on evilbay right now, for a Mauser 98, looks exactly the same for 45.00:

WHAG is a Lyman/Lyman style. E-Bay being evil, talk to Lyman or William's. Probably have to buy the whole thing.

I agree with entropy, it looks more like a Redfield. Of course that Mauser sight is not likely to fit an Enfield action, but the staff might be the same.

+2 on Redfield. There are both 70 and 80 series sights, and I don't know what the difference is offhand. Like JW said, I bet the base is different, but the workings (staff) might just fit into your existing base.
