That’s for an instate PPTs. There is no limit for purchases coming in from out of state that require an FFL to process.


This thread is about a law that addresses in-state PP transfers.

You stated that some CA FFLs charge up to $150. Since you didn't say otherwise, we have to assume you're comments are in the context of the thread.

In that context, the info is wrong as I stated.


Bringing up the cost of out of state transfers in CA isnt really relevant in this thread which is about PPT in Maine.
 
Exactly it's a ban on private sales. Forcing every sale to go thru a dealer. Now that they've stopped doing appeals on denials the next step for them will be to change the 3 day delay to an automatic denial. Then they'll just stop doing the checks.
 
Yes the idea is to have every sale go through a dealer with a background check.
