It was a good heavy duty press at the time.

However the RDP company (Ralph & David Pickens Tools) is long out of business.
And I doubt they ever made enough of them to have any spare parts show up anywhere.

Anything it needs other then dies will most likely have to be hand made by a very knowledgable & skilled machinist or gunsmith.

And the cost would far exceed the value to you in the end.

Looks good but sadly Al Gore hadn't made this internet thingamajig yet for them to have put out anything in the late 80s. I would like to see one of those in action.

I collect old presses. This beefy mother is a first for me.

Congrats!

Wow, ok, not very old, thanks. At first glance I thought you said 1895:)

What does it need to be put back into working condition?

Looks like they stuck a shovel handle on that thing! I like it, might try that.

I use this reloading platform but am keeping them going (2 loaders) by cannibalizing another RDP press. If you have used progressive presses before, have mechanic skills and can make precision small machined parts you have a chance. I may have some spare shell plates that I would part with but that is about it. This was a good design but quite expensive at the time. Unfortunately, from your picture I cant see if you have the nylon gears behind the reloader along with the linkages, gear racks etc. If you are missing this stuff or are not a machinist I would say forget it. Let me know if you want to talk off line, maybe we could work something out.
