Help with Glock mag pricing question.

I'm curious about the different pricing I see on Glock mags.
I can buy new G17 or G19 15 round mags. for +or- $22.00

But I see guys selling used 'pre ban' mags for as high as 50-60$ why is that?
Are they collectible? Or are they allowed to be used in states with capacity bans in effect?

My second question: Why do the LE/GOV mags sell at a premium as-well? I see them pop up as-well from time to time and they seem to bring good money. I bought some from CDNN several years ago and they where like 12-13$.. Nothing special at the time.

I just wonder if the high prices are just perceived value? Or if there is a legitimate reason for the 'much higher then new' prices?

The preban mags still bring a premium in states that still have the ban in effect. Most will allow mags made prior to the ban to be possesed, same goes for the guns with all the "evil" features.
As for the LE onlys??? Maybe the same guys who want CC badges???
