At 25 yards,.....with the rear sight down all the way,.....using Aquila Hyper Velocity 30gr bullets,.....from point of aim,....where would you expect the round to hit the target?

A. High?
B. At point of aim?
C. Low?

And.....go!

Side question,.....what would be considered a good grouping, benched, with a shooter which is decent....again, same ammo and distance?

Question 1, probably low. Side question, unknowable, due to too many variables. Go burn some powder and tell us what you come up with.

Levergun sights usually have a ramp that slides to the front and rear for elevation adjustments.

Usually, they have steps, so it's not like you can just adjust the point of impact to suit your situation like a screw adjusted sight.

I have found that most .22 leverguns have attempted to make those steps more-or-less suitable for the standard shooting ranges-

So, the "All the way down" position is about right for plinking at close range, and the second notch more or less lines up at 25 yards, and the third notch is about 50 yards... More or less.

Because the ammo varies a lot, and the way you line up the sight picture varies a lot, and manufacturing tolerances make the guns similar but not identical, none of that is exact, and the true art of shooting is learning how to make the rifle shoot where you want it to using those sights.

So to answer your question- I have no idea where it would shoot as described, but I bet I will be hitting what I aim at after I fire a few rounds and find out.

A good lever gun should be able to do 2MOA, and that's 1/2" at 25 yards. It's what I would expect from a Henry.

Okay, so with the rear sight all the way down, at 25 yards, hitting three inches high and a group of ~ 2 inches,...again, at 25 yards, it's not a very good shooter.

FWIW, I have a Henry Youth Carbine that hits quite well both grouping and POI vs POA.

I also have a Small Game Henry that is scoped and can do basically a 1/2 inch at 50 yards.

Meh,....I'm gonna sell it. I only bought it because I like the 1866 style........actually, I actually like the 1873 model and the Henry Golden Boy [1866 type] looked kinda like it.......but I'm going to go for it with an actual Winchester [or maybe Taylors] 1873, so I don't need the Henry now.
