Wish Ruger would put out a 45LC in their M77 with a threaded muzzle and a fast twist for heavies.

I already have a 77/44. If I want the barrel threaded I'm sure I can have it done. The problem for me is I would need another can for that (all mine are either 9mm or .308).

My main application for a .357 lever gun would actually be .38 Specials at about 50 yards. I figure there's gotta be a bullet that stabilizes in either twist given the wide range of bullets available in .357/.38.

In an ironic twist, I was at the range today and the only other guy there was trying to get his new Henry Long Ranger .308 to shoot. He had just topped it with a new scope. I never saw him smile. He kept saying "all the reviews on this rifle are great." LOL His groups at 100 yards on the other hand, not so much.

Meanwhile I took my shots at 300 with my Tikka and Howa and went home. I was almost embarrassed to show him the targets when he asked. I didn't want him to feel any worse about his new toy than he already did.

As I've said, for the third time now, you are certainly entitled to your own opinion. You are not, however, entitled to your own facts. It's a shame to have to spend so much time correcting the misinformation from trolls.
