Heritage Arms Rancher .22lr to .22wmr?

Does anyone know if someone has done this or is it feasible?

I have a HRR 6”w/adj.sgt w/.22mag cyl. Was wondering if the .22mag will work?

22 mag will work with the 22 mag cyl. 22 lr you would need the 22lr cyl.

The Heritage Arms Rancher manual says the Rancher will accept either the .22 LR or .22 WMR Magnum cylinder,

HRR is the Heritage Rough Rider revolver.
The Rancher is the carbine version.

Shooting .22 LR in a .22 Magnum chamber leads up the firing chamber, damages the bullet, leaks gas, and can be dangerous.

You can get the cylinder of your choice from Heritage for about 29.00.
AFIK all Heritage revolvers can use LR or mag cylinders.
Firing LR in a mag cylinder will cause split cases most likely. Not good.
