Hey city of Boston, where do I get one of these 9mm .44 blackpowder conversion 1851 navies?

I don't think a Colt or good repro has that joint between front strap and trigger guard, it is all one piece.
Good Eye!
I can't find a similar Denix.
Both Cooper and Manhattan Colt knock-offs had that part built like Colt.
Anyone have any other ideas???

The picture shows an open chamber and next chamber you can see a rim sticking out possibly 38 short colt.

I don't think it is real, look at the position of the locking notch to far forward from the back of the cylinder and to far backwards from the non-rebated portion of the cylinder. Plus, the non-rebated portion of the cylinder looks to be too short. I was comparing them to photos in Bruce McDowell's book on cartridge conversions.

.36 was Naval Caliber. 9mm was also Naval Caliber. .44 and .45 were Army Caliber. 9mm x19 loaded with soft lead over 25 grains or less of FFF, provided barrell specs were suitable, would be a safe loading. Smith and Wesson made 9mm revolvers for a while (smokeless). 9X19 cylinders have obviously been manufactured before, even though 9x19 is rimless.

For people who won’t dig for it.

That said, HK obviously hired people for their advertising that don’t even know what way the ammunition feeds into the firearm…not only that, not a single person caught it before it went to print.

That was unexpected. It made me laugh pretty hard. I wonder when it was that the error was discovered.

About calibers. Correct me if I am wrong…..9mm bullets are 0.356” dia. Despite the name, .36 caliber BP bullets are actually 0.375”. How is that gonna work?

The bore size on the 36 is .360. You use a .375 ball to fit the chambers. Some folks shoot a heel based bullet so it expands into the rifling.

?
A heel base bullet has bearing surface the same diameter as the case and will fill the grooves pretty well.
The later hollow base inside lubricated bullet is meant to "Minie" up into the barrel.
I tried that with modern hollow base wadcutters and it did not work reliably, so I had the barrel lined to .358".
