High Standard Double Nine question....

Hi. I have a Double Nine convertible that looks and feels virtually new. The DA trigger is a bit stiff. I've had some H&Rs with stiff DA triggers, especially the 922s, and they seem to lighten up a bit with use. This is the only High Standard I've ever owned so I have no experience from which to judge. Here's the question: Will it ease up with use or will it remain heavy?

In a way, I wish this gun wasn't in such pristine condition as it makes me a bit uneasy, just waiting for those first blemishes to appear.

I wouldn't call it stiff on mine but not crisp and light like a S&W

Here is a double nine that I bought many years ago. I have shot thousands of rounds through it and it still has a very heavy doulble action trigger but the single action is o k. It is a good shooter BTW.
