This guy had been drinking--blew.11 on the cop meter.
His mother-in- law called the cops & said he was drunk & had a gun.
Turns out he was drinking --but--he owned a gun---he did not have the gun in his possesion.
I think he need a new mother-in- law.

Yeah I have no idea how this ever made it this far. Drinking plus shooting is a no no, but if they are trying to say that I can't be having a drink in my home merely because I happen to own guns that are on the premises, then that's just RIDICULOUS. Luckily though, I live in a sensible jurisdiction. It's bad because in my local area, we're fine. Virtually no one is anti-gun. Heck I didn't know there was such a THING as people being anti-gun until I made it to college. The law enforcment is vary understanding and several local LEO's do concealed carry training on the weekends.

I really only fear Federal laws, and that in itself is a darned shame that me sitting way over here in SC I have to worry about what the Senators from CA and NY are up to .

off topic (not guns) but I had one of those, (the plant). It was a lot quieter than my mother-inlaw (now ex mother-inlaw) was.

I have a mother-in-law who is far from perfect (unless she is in another country) but even she would not have done something quite this low.
