What's drawing you to the P30L? The P30 is available in .40sw now. Just a thought...

I agree with Benderx4.

I have a P30 (not L) and I really like the gun. It is reliable, accurate, ergonomics are perfect for me, easy to field strip and clean, reliable and accurate, and sights which are really quite good for daylight but not so good for night sights unless recently held under a lamp. I don't even dislike the SA pull on mine. I haven't had the opportunity to shoot one with the LEM trigger. Lots of folks like them. Find the L or go for the P30 now. Either way, well worth the money imo.

Well, let's see. By the time I buy a:

Glock $500
Decent sights and installation to replace the plastic one's $125
Metal guide rod $25
extended mag release $15
extended slide stop $20
butt plug $10
and an aftermarket connector $20.

I'm now at $715 dollars.I didn't even get into how people pay hundreds to remold/reshape the grip and so on. I know that everyone doesn't do this but this is what the Glock would need to match Hk as far as materials used and the ability to easily reach the controls. I paid $735 dollars for my P30 brand new. It doesn't need anything added. The sights and guide rod are metal, the controls can be operated without shifting my grip. I just don't see what the big deal is.

Can I ask where you got your p30 for $735 brand new? That seems like a great price.
