It could be just me, but it appears Hodgdon updated their online reloading data site. When I select pistol, rifle or shotgun, a new tab opens (Safari), and I’m redirected to shop.Hodgdon.com. It’s still the same process, select a caliber, bullet etc but looks like they want to emphasize “Buy Now”.

"looks like they want to emphasize “Buy Now”."

Yes they are, but nothing is in stock if you click on it.
It's not quite as easy to read anymore, but you now have the ability to select more than 1 bullet and powder at a time and get results for those. That part of it is better.

I don't see much of a difference. The biggest thing is the addition of the Buy Now button and some style tweaks.

Agreed it does not seem that much different. Slight style change that I sort of like. Otherwise all the data seems to be the same good data it has always been at least on the few cartridges I was already familiar with.

I just googled "Hodgdon reloading data" (I have it bookmarked but I wanted to get the newest site). Looks a little different but acts the same. I clicked "Pistol", scrolled down to 380 Auto. Clicked bullet weight, left powder choice empty. An added feature is a choice between "Imperial" or "Metric" measurements. I clicked Imperial, hit "Update data" and got the same data results. No product info, same as it has always been...

OOPS! In went back and saw the "buy now" tab, but it only directed me to the powder for the particular load.

I was on that sight 2 weeks ago, for .40 S & W info, and they had some powder available, so I bought a lb of Titegroup, and Longshot. Total was $106.00 Hazmatt was $45.00, But what can yuo do if you find some powder.

I like the idea, but what a stupid time to modify the website to allow direct purchases from them. They also make it very hard to tell what is in stock or not available. You have to click on the product, select a size and not until then does it tell you it is out of stock. They need a filter to just see what's available. I don't want to spend half an hour searching to see if anything is actually on their website.

The site looks usable to me. Same stuff, presented slightly different.

It would be nice if you could filter powder by "in stock/out of stock". Granted, things are extreme these days, but even under normal times, some powders have stocking issues at times.

I had seen the Buy Now button but they have kept messing with it.
I like the magazine size annual for ready reference.

SF Trivia: In one of the Lucky Starr stories of the 1950s, it was pointed out that astrogational data was kept in book form because flipping pages to look something up was faster than scrolling through microfilm.

I have come to the point in life that questions some changes to things that were OK before said change. Like having to sign in or alternatly prove you are not a robot on you tube! Used to be able to type in Hitchcock 45 or ultimate reloader and go there directly. Grumble grumble!!!:fire:

Some folks are having problems I've not seen. I just gone on Hitchcock 45 directly from a bookmark and I believe the "buy it now" tab has been available for some time. And I've been using the Hodgdon load data site for several years, free...

I give up.... can't get it to work today..... when I select "rifle" and "Hodgdon" on the left, I get an incomplete mosaic of powders with "BUY NOW" beneath each one.. Sometimes the page allows me to choose "caliber" and "bullet weight", but often not.... When I can, choosing "get reload data" produces nothing... What the hell am I doing wrong? Any assistance is appreciated, thanks....

I liked how it was before, the lay out was simpler now you have to scroll all over the place.
They get something that works fine then they have to mess with it.

1. Go to the Hodgdon reloading data site. https://www.hodgdonreloading.com/node
2. Hit "Pistol" ( or rifle or shotgun).
3. Notice "Step 1", choose a caliber.
4. "Step 2" choose a bullet weight.
5. "Step 3" choose a powder mfg (I usually leave this blank for more info).
6. "Step 4" choose a specific powder (I often leave this one blank too except when I'm looking for a specific powder)
7. Choose either "Imperial" or "Metric" measurements.
8. Hit "Update data"
Load data will appear at the bottom of the page...

Maybe I'm different but besides the color change and the addition of "Metric" the site works just the same as it always have.
