Hogue version of Axis lock?

I got an email about a Hogue sale and was looking through the options and ran across this knife. They call it a ambi pivot lock. I recall reading Benchmade's patent ran out, but this is the first non-Benchmade knife i've seen with the axis type lock. I have a couple of Hogue autos and really like the quality.

There have been others, but Hogue is the most respectable and probably paid a fee to BM.

It does look like a really nice Griptillian.

It's now head and shoulders above a Griptilian. Improved ergonomics, great steel, and an excellent manufacturer that won't stab Ritter or Knife Rights in the back.
