as a jersey resident, i'd just like to say on behalf of all us liberal commie garbage staters, thanks guys! keep up the hate speech!

and yeah, if you're running guns into camden to sell to the gangbangers, just leave the hollowpoints at home. :neener:

I have no problem with the people or the geography of New Jersey but the politicians need a reality check! Just because I like to; pump my own gas, swim in un-lifeguard-protected waters, think paid crossing guards are unnecessary and that jughandle left turns are an odd inconvenience doesn’t mean I want to enforce my beliefs there. However if someone makes themselves an imminent threat to my family we are going to play by Kentucky Rules until the PoPo show up.
I just got back from a week at Ortly Beach just north of Seaside Heights the beach & the food were excellent but I feel the people would benefit from 2 things; how to make a decent glass of ice tea and adopting a little southern hospitality. When people look at you like you have 3 heads for holding the door for them or saying yes sir or yes mam then ya’ll got a problem.
I did not bring a firearm, of any kind, I had my every present Kershaw blur and a softball, softball-glove and Louisville Slugger. I brought the ball and glove to justify the presence of the bat. I am more afraid of the NJ courts than I am of what I cannot prevent a thug from doing to my family, with just my bare hands!
Have fun changing hearts & minds in Trenton.

New Jersey: Enter at your own risk!!

The conversation here is typical of New Jersey.

Quick Answer: Don't keep hollow points in your glove compartment.

I am not a lawyer but here is some friendly advice:
New Jersey: Enter at your own risk!!
If you are traveling through keep everything in your trunk and firearms not loaded.
If you are staying a while, don't bring a gun.
If you shoot in NJ regularly get a NJ Firearms ID.

What seems "reasonably necessary" on a gun forum doesn't always jive with local or state police opinions.

Speaking for myself….I feels sorry for you Jersey residents. Hope none of them N.J. politicians run in Texas or Presidential office.
That’s one (hollow-points) that takes the cake for gun laws. If I didn’t see it on their laws, I would think its B.S. Which, it is B.S.
Wonder what politician(s) in Jersey came up with that one to make his/her $100K+ salary for the year.
