For those of us who reload and find ourselves chasing brass from semi-auto rifles off the bench, here is my $12 solution.
Materials list..
1/2" PVC from Home Despot & laundry bag from Wally World
- 3 x 24" sections of pipe (they sell them in these precut sections)
- 2 x 90 degree elbows
- 4 x T joints
- 4 x end caps
- 12 x tie wraps (had these already)
- 1 laundry bag (24” W x 36” L)
Take two of the 24” pipes and cut in the follow lengths: 14", 7", and you will have 3"ish sections left over. The two 7” sections will be the vertical sides of the catch window and the 14” sections will be the top/bottom. The 3” left overs go from the catch window down to the base.
For the base I cut the third pipe as follows... Two 4” sections and two 7” sections. The 4” pieces are the front of the base and 7” pieces are the back under the bag.
The laundry bag was cut down about halfway to shed excess material.
No glue was used and I can take the legs off for transport. Rattle can color of choice.
Enjoy...
