Finally found some (private party) 174 grn RN .312" hunting bullets for my 7.65x53 Argentine mausers.
It's been a year since I bought some 150 grn .312" SST plastic tipped bullets, and they were the most accurate of all the brands I tried; Sierra, Speer, and Remington, which were all .311".
I managed 1" @ 60-70 yards with AA-2495 and those horrible military sights, the Speer 180's (.311") were a close second @ 1-1/2" with H-4895 at the same distance.
Both of them are Cavalry Carbines with 21-1/2" barrels and I hunt thick woods, ravines, and creek bottoms, so they work great for me and my hunting style and terrain.
Now the load development starts, can't wait !! :D:evil:

I have used those and the Remington Cor-Lokt .312 FN projectiles in my 32 SPL ammo. They shoot well and are good for putting meat in the pot. As long as you do not want 600 YD bench rest accuracy you will be pleased I bet. I hope things ease up supply wise soon as I am getting low on mine as well.:)

Yeah, I can't even see 600 yards :neener: Even with my scoped rifles I only ever attempt 300 or 350 at most.
I'm confident at those ranges, after that I think wind unpredictability becomes a factor and it just not worth it to me.
Most of mine are milsurps, with iron sights, which don't lend themselves to long range shooting very well (with my old eyes).:D
