Nailed a cheap holster to the side of my headboard on the bed and have a USP 45 in it and CCW USPC 9 during the day.
their all trigger locked and locked in their cases with the ammo stored somewhere else durning the day.
I think my first instinct would be grab the HP and extra mag, then get my contacts in then put on my pants and then grab the 30-30 and flashlight, and go patrolling with rifle and sidearm.
Sure you don't want to stop for a bite to eat
I suppose we are doomed to have this same sad thread repeated again and again, forever.
