3 Magpuls, but I want MOAR!

Not in any hurry though. LGS around here tend to carry a ton of them. Might ask for some for my next birthday or X-mas. :)

I have 5 mags for my XD9, which I feel is a good number, but I'm thinking maybe six total mags for my AR.

That probably seems like a tiny amount to some of the folks who have 30-40 mags, but I doubt I'll ever need more than 3-4, with a few as backup, if I start playing gun games or something.

I honestly haven't looked in a long time; probably between 50 and 100; I'd have to go count them to get a more refined answer. Now you've gone and piqued my curiosity.

I've got a couple of 30 round Pmags and a couple of 20 round Pmags.

All I do with mine is plinking at the range. Not really any burning reason to have more mags when that is all I do.

I have about 8 Magpul 30-rounders and another half-dozen or so aluminum Labelles. They all function perfectly.

I would like to invest in some 20-rounders as well. I find it is easier to sight-in and shoot for groups off a rest with the shorter mags.

Of course, I could always use the five-rounders that came in the box with the Bushmaster and the Colt...

For this particular rifle, 20 is minimum.

Buy em now while they're cheap.

I have 4 and nothing bigger than 10 rounds. That's all I need for range use or NRA highpower competiton. I also have bobsleds for single round loading of rounds that are too long to fit in the magazine.

Not enough.

Mostly 20 rounders, 30 rounders are too long for my liking, but I have a few.

5 and 10 round magazines for the "crew served", heavy barrel, varmint ARs

I only have 4 because I don't shoot it every week. I have more mags for the .22 conversion kit than I do for the .223.

I put down 9 to 10 on the poll, but truth be told it is closer to 15 to 20. But it got me wondeering, how many is enough?? At my age I have to get a porter just to carry the ammo for me. (LOL)

Jim

I have one in 9mm and one in 223, I have 14 for the 223 and 4 for the 9 but 3 of those don't work so I guess realistically I only have 1 for the 9.

I generally aim for a half-dozen mags for each of my firearms that uses them. That said, there is certainly no reason not to have more. ;)

Around 25 30 round Pmags. Three 20 round USGI Colt mags, one Bobsled (single load device).

5 magpul 30 rd pmags, and 1 20 rd pmag. Love the pmags.

10 standard STANAG type 30 rd mags in 3 of the 3 mag pouches, with one extra for the range.

2 20 rd box mags for the range.

Seems reasonable.

I really don't know how many I have. When I store ammunition for my AR, I usually store it loaded in mags.

8- 20 round thermold and 6-30 round pmags for my AR

9-7 rounders for my 1911

2-19 rounders and 1-10 rounder for SR9c

But if i find any of them cheap ill buy more..just not paying regular price since a have a goid amount. ..and they are all loaded..y have a mag if your not gonna load it

I don't own an AR, but I use my own mags "at work"... 10 GI type mags that I sandblasted, dura coated the outside, and installed new springs/followers.
