I do not carry my several carry handguns on a rotating schedule. "EDC rotation" is a term that has crept into firearms forums, from knife forums. Some knife enthusiasts seem to have strict schedules, giving equal carry time to several knives. Firearms (and knives) do not have feelings, so there are no hurt feelings if one gets more carry time than another. I simply carry what seems best at that point in time, and routinely carry 2+ at the same time.
It is possible to have a decent skill level with each of several disparate weapons. I have been through multi-year phases of carrying only one "family" of handguns, and there have been times I carried disparate handgun designs, with nothing in common with each other. I now fall into the latter category, having settled upon several that seem to work well.
