I've been waiting 2.5 weeks so far for my NY paperwork to come through before I can pick up my new pistol.

If you live in a free state, how many pistols have you picked up since I filed my paperwork on 12/4?

Lets see... we have bought 2 1911s, one Match and one compact, picked up a .44 snubby, and I put a payment in on my S&W Model 22 Thunder Ranch... so far.
Thats 2 for me... 2 for the wife... and I have my eye on a nice .44 snubby for myself. :D

I bought a 24/7 Compact in .40 and a SP101 2.25" in .357mag for me. The other half is getting a P95 for Christmas.

ruger LCP
NAA Guardian .32 ACP

Next is a big revolver, I really don't own a good HD gun right now. I will probably have that in house too before your paperwork is cleared.

1. desert eagle, brushed chrome, 50 ae.
2. browning buckmark slabside, 22 lr.
3. beretta m9 navy, 9mm

then, on the 24th, i'm hoping to work a deal on a para p-14 and colt python... those aren't done deals yet, so i don't know if they will happen or not. but the other 3 have happened within the last 6 days or so.

None. As much as it pains me to admit it, I have more than I need already. Oh well, I can think of much worse fates to bear....My last purchase was a like new Ruger Mark 2 semi auto with 4 inch heavy barrel. Couldn't pass it up (an affliction many of us share) for the $150 asking price.

Bought a 442. One call and 15 minutes later I was the new owner to a 442 :D Do they have a right to turn down your permit in NY for no reason?

4, all brownings

2 at two different times.

the 1st time was 2 browning buckmark camper auto pistols, 1 for me and 1 for my brother as a gift.

we liked them so much i just went back a few days ago and got 2 more for a total of 4.

1 for me
1 for my brother
1 for my son for christmas
1 for my brother in law for christmas.

also bought 120 dollars worth of extra magazines and 2000 rounds of plinkin' ammo.

Need?

Who said anything about "need"? :D:D:D

Sheesh, if I had stopped there...well, let's just say that I would have had to stop long, long ago. :)

That's just too dang funny.... :)

none, for one reason first and foremost i haven't given into the "scare" secondly i don't have the money for any new ones right now, well i do but i would rather buy ammo for the guns that i already have and attend training courses.

Gee... I haven't bought any. :(

But I am on the lookout.

Living in Arizona does have some advantages. No permits, no registration (it's against the law), and no waiting period. Just walk into the shop and walk out with your purchase. Of course there are some drawbacks. Making things this easy can cause some unexpected debits on one's credit card.

Oh, and it doesn't snow to often either...

Now I do realize that I'm rubbing your nose in it, and I do feel sorry for those that live in places like New York, California, Chicago, Washington DC, etc., but there isn't much I can do about it. Hopefully the recent Heller decision from the Supreme Court will eventually bring some positive changes, but I believe it will take a long time so far as New York's concerned.

But look at it this way. Things could be worse. What if you lived in Washington DC or Chicago - not to mention N.Y. City? :uhoh:

I bought one, a Ruger NM Blackhawk in .41 Magnum.
It's got the four and five eighths inch barrel.

I've thought about some more but haven't done anything about them.

Okay, I admit I haven't bought any in your specific time frame.

However, just before that I bought a Ruger P95, S&W 642, Ruger Mark 1, and a H&R 929 revolver within a two week period.
