How many magazines come with the LCP?

I finally got a call from my local GS and picked up my brand new Ruger LCP earlier today.. I got it for $342 out the door with a box of ammo. My initial impressions are that the gun is very well made, but I haven't shot it yet. My only concern is that I only found one magazine in the box. I remember sliding one in at the GS, but I'm not sure if it was the one I found in my box with the orange warning sticker on it. Did I leave one behind at the store, or does it really only come with one magazine? Just want to be sure... thanks in advance.

is the mag a 6 round (like the kel-tec P3AT) or 7 round?

i hope ruger starts making a +1 extension for it. come to think of it, will kel-tec mags work in the LCP? I own neither, but i was planning on getting an LCP sometime.

The LCP only comes with one 6rd mag and at the moment ruger is not making extra mags because of the high demand for the pistol itself...

I am not sure if they are interchangeable, the lcp and the kel-tec are slmost identical except the slide release on the lcp.

probably wounldnt work then, id bet the follower on the kel-tec wont engage the slide release on the LCP

no slide release on the lcp. it is all manual. has nothing to do with the follower. I ordered two extra magazines on line direct from Ruger and got them in about a week.

Uno. But you can order from Midway (genuine Ruger mags) for reasonable. I believe 21.95 with dealer discount.

The LCP I saw had a slide lock and I heard from two different shops in town last week that you couldnt get extra mags :banghead: ... need to tell them to check again.

I bought an extra mag from my gun shop... no trouble. Of course, it's the same shop that got me the gun in one week.

My dealer was apparently talking out his a$$ as he said that ruger wasnt even making extra mags yet... I cant believe I was gullible enough to buy it. I guess the only reason I thought that was true was because I had heard it at one of the other shops here in town as well... odd.

I guess I will call it a moment of my own stupidity and move on.

If you register the LCP on-line with Ruger, you get a coupon for 10% off your next purchase at the Ruger store. Use that coupon to buy your mags from ruger at a 10% discount. I did that and got my mags at a great price and delivered in about 5 days.

my dealer sells mags for 22 bucks Pistol 285
I have locked my KT mag in but no idea if will work other than locks in place. Ruger grip is a little shorter than KT . These little pistols hard enough to handel with out makeing grip about a 1/4" shorter.

It's just my opinion and worth absolutely nothing, but I think a company that ships a semi with only one mag is chicken*****.
I expect to hear it on this one.

I just let my dealer know that I will be needing another magazine for my LCP, problem is, I told him I wanted another LCP to go with it!
