How much do YOU shoot?

my biggest problem is that if i take a certain amount of ammo than every bit of it is gonna get shot so i have to take a set number or i will go crazy and blast it all away and then there won't be any money to get anymore untim next payday. which means no shooting that particualr weapon, or in the case of .40 ammo three of my guns.

Not as much as I would like, but I have been real busy over the last couple of years so about 3 to 5 thousand, usually in a few real hard range trips. Before that It was 2 to 3 times as many rounds in many more trips.

I can't shoot as often as I'd like to

If I owned a small farm, I'd probably be out the back door and shooting at least a few rounds every day. Unfortunately, with my 1/4 acre of suburbia, the LEOs would take a really dim view of shooting on my own land.

I can only make it to the range (indoor) every couple of months, I load up the trunk with a half-dozen-or-so firearms and make a day of it. 200 rounds of .38Spl, 100 rounds of .357 Magnum, 100 rounds of .22 Magnum, and then kill a brick of .22lrs.

If I'm feeling really lush (and want to punish my shoulder), I'll take along one of the 12-gauge doubles and some Magnum buckshot.

I'd say around 200 pistol rounds average. Maybe a bit more depending. Rifle per week really varies a lot. Some weeks hardly any and some weeks 500 rounds.

I go to the indoor range every other week. I put approx 2-300 rounds down range each trip. Mix of .22, 9mm (pistol and carbine), .45ACP, .45Colt, .32NAA, and 12 ga (buckshot and slugs). I go to the outdoor rifle range 4 or 5 times per year. All total I probably go anywhere from 2K to 5K rounds depending on the year. So far this year, I'm probably up around 2500 or so.

He told me he does alot of shooting. He probably averages about 200-300 rounds a year.
 I'll be the first to admit that I do less than I need, way less than I want and I shoot at least 5 times that. About a dozen years ago or so I was about 20,000 rounds a year. That was great times.

About 200-300rnds per session, 1-2 sessions per week, then competition days (around 100rnds) through my SP01. So that's about 30K rnds of 9mm per year at that pace.

About 100-200rnds per month through my Pointman7. So that's about 2000rnds of .45acp per year. I don't compete with the .45 currently, but am considering shooting IDPA with it, so the round count will increase drastically if that happens.

About 200rnds per month through my EAA Witness. So around 2500rnds per year of .38super.

Then maybe 500rnds per year through my wife's XD40Service.

I just recently rejoined a gun club and have been shooting a couple of times a week for about the last 3 weeks but would like to do 3 times. I usually shoot 150 rounds of 22 and maybe 18 rounds with my 357 magnum. :D I also have a couple of other passions besides shooting so it is sometimes hard to work everything in! :( :D Too many things, too little time!

depends. $$$$$ and time is my limiting factor as with most people.

can be anywhere from a few thousand rounds a month going every weekend to just when I have the $$$ and time to get out to the mountains or the range.

Havent done alot of shooting this year.:cuss: :banghead: :fire:

hoping to remedy that this upcoming summer.

that reminds me, about time to sight in my rifle at 500 for the upcoming range shooting trips.

Not as much as I'd like, but enough to keep me occupied reloading when it's too dark to shoot . . . I reckon in the neighborhood of 8K - 10K rounds per year (unless one includes air rifles/pistols, then the number climbs considerably since that's indoor entertainment at home).

I shoot almost every day, I train with my air guns in my back yard and get 50-200 shots down range. I only get to shoot my firearms about once a month 2-500 round per trip.

Around 2000 in the last 10 weeks. Started shooting (i.e. bought first gun) at the beginning of March. Put about 2k .22LR downrange, and 1200 9mm in my guns, and new found friends at the range have been kind enough to let me try out their various firearms as well. Although my fiance counts for a decent part of those .22LR's.

I try to get out at least once a week, but don't always make it. I average 100-200 rounds of 9mm, and whatever I can in 22LR is someone else isn't using it. Although occasionally to be cheap, I just take the 22's.

Lets see...

I'm buying a case of .40 s&w about every three months, so 4000 rounds/year there .

A brick of .22 LR every other month, so add another 3000 rounds/year.

Between my GF and I, at least 6 rounds of sporting clays a month, so figure something over 8000 rounds of 12 GA a year

Throw in a couple of boxes of .243 a year.

Gallon or so of Hoppe's No.9

Damn, no wonder I am always broke.

Twice of three times per week. We have our own private range so it's convenient. About 2000 rds per month. Amost all pistol. Over 24,000 last year.
