This is very timely thread for me. Yesterday an elderly friend asked me if I could use any HS6 as he had hoarded more than he can use. It's unopened and has been properly stored for several years. I load 38spl +P & 357 usually with HP38 or Titegroup(when using Russian spp). What I've read about using hs6 reloading 38+P is it can be used with SPP but benefits from using magnum spp and does better with heavier bullets(158gr). I'll use Hodgdon reload data. I think $40 per pound would be fair to offer him. Is that a fair price to offer considering current pricing?
