I fired a "new to me" M1907 .380 Husky, basically a Browning 1903 design, twice recently, the first time cleaning only the barrel without removing the slide, the second time removing the slide and barrel but nothing more.
On reassembly the trigger won't trip the hammer. I think this has happened with other semi-autos and I freed the mechanism but I can't recall how.
I'm transferring this to a fellow C&R in Oregon and would like to correct the situation before sending it and would like to do so without further removal of parts. If that is needed he is more skilled and has better tools than I do.
Everything seems to be in place and in order per the parts diagram, the manual safety, the grip safety, the trigger function, the disconnector movement, etc. The hammer won't trip, slide on or slide off.
Does anyone have any ideas?
