I have an Omega 300 and four rifles with permanently mounted quick attach muzzle brakes for it that I believe are also compatible with both the hybrid 46 and the 36 m.

I do not intend to put any of these on a pistol, with the possible exception of the 36 m. Hybrid 46 is simply too unwheeledly on a handgun.

The only other rifle s I might put the hybrid 46 on or a 44 Magnum Henry big boy lever action Tactical or conceivably on 375 Ruger but I do not think it will handle 375.

But does the extra Width of the 36 m and the hybrid 46 make them safer to direct thread to 300 Win Mag or other 30 caliber rifle and more safely than the Omega 300 in terms of avoiding baffle strikes?

Does this benefit, if any, make up for the loss of effectiveness in reducing noise?
Because I'm pretty sure the Omega 300 more effectively reduces noise from 30 caliber or smaller rifles.

Which one would you get?
There's not a big difference in price
But the Omega 300 would come with free quick attach muzzle brakes.
