I have one in .22lr, it is very tiny. I wouldn’t trust myself to get a hit under stress outside of a few yards, but if it’s a case of drawing my NAA instead of my wallet when requested, I think it would do the job fine.

I kind of want to get mine full-coverage engraved with ivory or mother-of-pearl grips.

I've had one since 2015, I carry it when doing yard work. I figure under stress at best it's a "get off me" gun, but it has surprising accuracy if you take your time. With my sausage fingers I find it's easiest to grip with my index and middle finger from my strong hand (right) and use the index finger from my support hand to pull the trigger.

Shown here with ammo I pulled from a phone book when I was doing a penatration/expansion test with different ammo (understood that's not the same as ballistic gel before someone comments).

I've got a NAA in .22 mag. I immediately bought after-market grips (wooden) that are substantially larger.

The grips provided are too small, so if you get one of these in .22 mag., get one of the models that has larger grips, or order grips as soon as you buy the revolver. With the larger grips, one can achieve a bit of accuracy. Note: In .22 mag. these little puppies are as loud as a .38 Spec.+P rounds -- LOUD!

I carry a Black Widow every day with the first round bird shot for a threating Great Dane. The BW has a 2" barrel which improves accuracy and performance.

I have a short barrel one with LR and MAG cylinders. I find the plastic fold out grips make it more than comfortable to hold and shoot. It is still a snub nose revolver and my intention is it is a 10 feet or less firearm, I need more practice with it. Clips comfortably in a pocket, and I'll actually bring it with me. It is like being kind of armed as some might say and I fully agree.

I'll have to try that method out sometime. For mine I've used both index fingers (one on top of the other) to pull the trigger. Have had some success.

I have two, one has a 4 inch barrel so I don't consider it "mini" while the other is a 1.6" barrel in .22 Mag and has the LR cylinder. I got that because I felt at the time the fastest reload with an NAA was to have a second cylinder already loaded and the combo models offered me the LR cylinder, which I knew I'd shoot much more. As for the barrel, I wanted more rifling to stabilize the bullets better, not for velocity.

I have had some thoughts of getting the .22 LR only as it's much smaller than any .22 Mag model, but would I actually carry it? Maybe as a backup gun in colder weather, but in summer if I was dressed in a way I couldn't carry a .32 or .380 and had to choose an NAA, I'd take the .22 Mag NAA, not the LR.

They are fun to shoot and cheap to shoot, the 4 inch that I mentioned earlier I have put at least 1000 rounds thru, so durability and longevity isn't a problem.

IDK what to make of the Sidewinder and Ranger, the Ranger is a turn off because the selling point is a faster reload, but to me that isn't worth the price as after 5 shots I'd rather just run. Also, IDK how much wear that locking latch can take before failure and I've seen videos where during cocking you could end up pulling back on the latch and opening it at the wrong time.

The Sidewinder to me is the sweet spot in terms of reloading speed and price, I just hate that the front sight is a literal nub, like something on an 1851 Navy. I know, it's only a "belly gun" but the Dickerson shooting at the mall is showing us that while we expect things to be much closer, sometimes the situation isn't what we're expecting and if I have to aim, I want sights that help me achieve hitting the target.

They are definitely small. I have a difficult time holding on to it when it recoils. Just very little to hold onto.

This is the holster Ive been using. I think its a Desantis. Carries the gun well, doesn't move around much, and has a pocket for extra ammo. It came with a loop that you could put over the hammer, but it was cumbersome and difficult to get off.

It slips right in behind my wallet in my back pocket.

I have that holster also. The one thing I didn't like about it is that they didn't extend the sleeve enough to cover the hammer spur. The elastic loop is an interesting concept, but like you, I didn't like it -- never used it (trying to disengage it in a panic situation would have been an exercise in futility). A strap with a button would have been better, but I guess they wanted to keep it minimalist. Well-made holster, otherwise. :)

have one, tried one of the aftermarket larger wood grips but still too awkward so I went with the folding clip grip and must say it makes it so much easier to shoot. I also like how with the clip grip I can just pop it into a pocket and its well protected. also, I sometimes use it as a backup CCW.

I have the 22 Mag NAA mini- 2" barrel.
I use it way more than I thought I would.
It goes in a makeshift pocket holster out of a 2-piece leather cigar holster.
It may go along with me many days a week, on days when I otherwise might choose not to carry a gun.

The 2 cylinders are handy as this guy sees anything from 22 CBs all the way up to 22 Magnums and everything and anything in between. Very handy for pest control. It's the handiest of my mouse-guns.

Once you get used to the POA vs POI on the sight, it's good for hitting a pie plate at 15 yards.
NAA has many different sight styles from blade, to bead to traditional, and the POI is all different on each of them for me.

The 22Short and 22LR versions truly are tiny, and I see how they can fill the niche role of a very deep concealment backup gun (that's why I own the Short)... however, the 22 Mag version is a different, bigger frame, that is near the same size as far more effective pocket pistol options (see pictures). This would be made even worse by adding larger grips.

I just can't help but think for it's bigger size, the Magnum version's poor ergonomics, slow reload process, lack of sights, and 5 rounds of single action only rimfire no longer make sense.

PS- these are not my pictures, I pulled them from the internet to give some comparisons.
